Apple Maggot Ballad
Conor's class sang this song last year during their spring concert, and I laughed so hard I had to wipe tears away. From the sounds of the giggles around me, other people had the same reaction this year. It remains one of my favorite songs! lol

It is second only to heaven for Aspies.
Apparently, all the practice reading in this position is preparing him for future space missions.
Cameron was the only child - ours and the many others we saw - who did not use guesswork and random amounts of air and water. Needless to say, he slammed his water rocket against the top of the tower on his first try.
I have seen the future.

We Parents Don't Have A Chance!
So, Cameron just took the TONI-3. That is, "Test of Non-verbal Intelligence, 3rd edition." Long after I had finished trying to silently figure out the answers, even after I had given up analyzing why the answer that was marked right even made sense, he was still going. He got a standard score of 150, percentile rank of >99, and age equivalent of greater than 17 years, 9 months (it didn't measure any higher than that; it just tells us he's beyond what the test measures).
(Update: His daily note from his teacher today - perfect behavior scores, BTW - said, "He figured out the Fibonacci sequence today. What a mathematician!" Yep, got me again. I had to go look it up.)
